Audi’s smallest SUV is getting a big update for 2026—and while much of the redesign stays true to the Audi playbook, one curious detail behind the steering wheel is stealing the spotlight.
The third-generation Audi Q3 gets a full refresh, mirroring design cues from its larger SUV siblings like the Q5 and Q7. That means a sharper grille, sleeker LED lighting, and a more refined, minimalist interior. Underneath, the Q3 rides on an updated version of VW Group’s MQB platform, promising better ride comfort, improved efficiency, and more cabin space.
But the big surprise? Audi has replaced the traditional instrument cluster cowl with a flat screen that sits on top of the dashboard, tablet-style. It’s a major break from the brand’s usual cockpit layout—and a risky move in the conservative luxury segment.
